  15. Just a note from a long-time (ancient time of SAIL-TeX incl.) 
  16. TeX maintainer/supporter/pro.

  18. Many thanks to Peter Whaite for keeping up the discussion about 
  19. current/future TeX distribution, and for suggestions as to how
  20. it might be done. It is a pity that the high quality of present
  21. system is scarred by the rather irregular (erratic?) packaging.
